Fundraising Dinner Dance 17th March 2012

Patricia’s sister Vanessa and Yenda along with their children and friends organised a Dinner Dance to raise funds for the Ride around the Corner for Legacy.

The hall was donated, and the band ‘Back to the Future’ gave their time for free (one of the band members was also a legacy beneficiary like Patricia).

Prizes were donated from many local businesses and these were raffled at the dinner.  Prizes included assorted wines, books, baskets, videos, voucher for photo shoots , videos, dinner for two, charcoal portrait, wood work and a signed QLD State of Origin jersey, a 4 man tent, $200 basket of goodies & a brother colour printer .

140 people bought tickets for the dinner dance and $3,400 was raised towards Ride Around the Corner for Legacy.  Everyone who came said they had such a great time.

Brisbane Legacy gave badges for the ladies and key rings for the Gents as a gift on entering the Hall.

Some people travelled miles to be there and it is much appreciated.
